Birthday Remembrance
Thinking of you on your birthday Chris
But that is nothing new
For no day dawns and no day ends
Without a thought of you.

We cannot send a birthday card,
Your hand we cannot touch,
But God will take our greetings
To the one we love so much.

Been 3 years...

Today, 19th July, marks the 3rd anniversary of the day you were cruelly taken from this world... Still i do not have the words to express the loss of you from my life... It will never be the same without you and i am not the same without you here... I have come to the point of beliving that your spirit is entirely happy where you are and your smiling down on us knowing what the point of life is - while we struggle to find it out! See you again one day til then keep an eye on me please. I'm not as strong as others may think i look. I cant believe it is now 3 years. It does not get any easier with time - only different...
Much love my C. I think of you everyday & miss you deeply xxxxxx

Missing You

-It is nearing 3 years since you left the UK for your tour of duty in Basra where you had committed 1 year of your life to your country.
-On July 19th it will be 3 years since you, Matthew & Peter were cruelly taken from this world by a cowardly act of violence - A 360' war.
-I often think about those who set up the 'rocket' and their families. I wonder what information they gained from the press or informants of what they had done. I wonder if they even remember it now? If they have it marked as an anniversary? I wonder how they think it benefited their cause. I wonder how proud they are of themselves and if deep down they are plagued by guilt - as they know it was wrong - to take anothers life - especially where there was no direct threat to their survival. I wonder about the families, the wives and children... Who have they lost on the way? What is their lifestyle like now? Before and after 'War'... I wonder whether any have come to the UK to claim asylum or if their family members have and may or may not have contact with them. I wonder if i have worked with any within my job...
-I wonder what they would say if i could just speak to them and what i would say.
-I wonder what other fiancee's and family of loved ones killed think and feel.
-I wonder what this whole experience is all about? There must be some point to it all. I will keep on searching, through the practise of all things Yoga & spirituality...
-What if's and maybe's are all worn out now. Now i have to take part more in the world and not endure it.
-I know i dont have any guilt to bare therefore the perpertrators are not as free as me and i get to go to heaven and see my loved one once again. Rest, love, light and peace C. L.U.S.M.I xxxxxx

To love is to never forget,
To never forget is to have memories,
To have memories makes us smile,
To smile is to feel happiness,
To feel happiness is to think of our loved ones,
And never forget.
